Glitz and Glamour: The Top Las Vegas Hotels

Whether you and the family are looking to have a bit of fun underneath the neon lights or a group of friends hopes to place a winning wager within a world-famous casino, Las Vegas is certainly the place to be.  Celebrities from all walks of life frequently visit this amazing desert oasis and it only stands to reason that the city is arguably one of the most famous in the world.  Knowing where to stay and what the best hotels have in store is an obvious concern.  To make things a bit easier, we have gone ahead and listed what many consider to be the top five properties found within this glittering and surreal paradise.  Let's take a closer look.

The Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

Modernity and style are two terms which can adequately describe the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.  Having first opened its doors in 2008, this property is one of the newest on the strip.  Should you be concerned about an over-booked location, you will be pleased to know that The Encore currently offers an incredible 2,034 rooms at your disposal.  Due to this massive number, you have the option of choosing a more amenably priced package or going all out for a penthouse suite.

While the famous Las Vegas strip is only moments away and all guests have access to a nearby 18-hole golf course, much of the praise surrounding The Encore is in regards to its rooms.  Each is very spacious and truly spectacular in terms of creature comforts.  Some of the advantages offered include floor-to-ceiling windows (for excellent views of the city), electronically controlled blinds, free Internet access, spacious bathrooms, a lounge area (within every suite) and top-notch concierge services.

The Mandarin Oriental

The Mandarin is without a doubt one of the most famous hotels within Las Vegas, for for good reason.  Like most other luxury properties, it is found within only minutes of most of the major casinos.  However, the 392 rooms provided offer an unparalleled sense of comfort.  This is an added bonus after a long day on the strip or at the casino tables.  In other words, much of the “excess” that has come to define countless Las Vegas properties has been done away with to instead focus upon quality services and a unique sense of relaxation.

The rooms themselves have recently been remodelled and as you may already suspect, nothing has been left to spare in terms of opulence and functionality.  Many guests claim that the levels of customer service here are simply the best in the business.  So, you will definitely be getting what you have paid for.  On top of this rather “human” touch, you are able to enjoy features such as a secluded pool, a five-star spa and two fine restaurants.  Those who arrive here with a bit of business in mind can also take advantage of the meeting spaces found within The Mandarin Oriental.

SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand

There can be times when you want to remain close to the action.  In this case, what better way to spend a holiday than be booking a room which is only an elevator ride to a massive casino?  This is one of the features which has allowed SKYLOFTS at MGM Grand to be such a worthwhile choice.  Although the prices are generally in excess of $1,000 dollars a night, you can expect to enjoy every penny of your reservation

First, you have the choice of a one-, two- or three-bedroom suite.  One unique aspect in regards the each room is that it is a duplex; ideally suited for larger groups or even a family.  The rooms are designed with a modernist flair in mind.  This helps to provide an even greater sense of space.  Considering that the minimum size is already 1,400 square feet, you will always be able to kick back and relax during your stay.

Being treated like a king (or a queen) is another benefit that is associated with the SKYLOFT.  To highlight this observation, some of the amenities that are included within standard packages are free airport transfer services through the use of a Rolls-Royce, complete access to a fitness centre and a spa, complimentary access to the SKYLOFT cocktail bar and lounge located on the 29th floor and a private check-in area to avoid the throngs of those who wish to go to the casino alone.

The Bellagio

The Belaggio typifies the elegance and luxury that you should come to expect when visiting Las Vegas.  Arguably one of the largest properties within the city, the hotel itself has become an icon for high rollers and typical tourists alike.  It is found on an incredible 67 acres of land, so enjoying a bit of space is never a concern.  The exterior alone is worth a few snapshots; massive coloured fountains illuminate the evening while a lake of 8.5 additional acres allows this spot to be a true oasis within the middle of what would otherwise be a desert.

The sights do not stop with the exterior alone.  The hosts here have also created a tranquil indoor botanical garden; a perfect way to decompress after a day out and about.  Five pools are likewise nestled within an Italian-style courtyard.  Why leave the premises if you hope to do a bit of shopping?  Famous brand name boutiques such as Prada, Chanel and Gucci are all located within the confines of the Bellagio.  After a day of shopping, expect to enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience at either Le Cirque or Prime Steakhouse.

Finally, the rooms themselves represent the highest levels of quality and comfort.  Italian linens specifically designed for the Bellagio guarantee a pleasant night of sleep while bathrooms crafted from the finest Italian marble and granite reflect an old world style that may be lacking in some other establishments.  Room service with a personalised touch is also not to be missed, as the patrons here go out of their way to may certain that nothing is lacking during your stay.  The Bellagio is certainly not to be missed if you have a bit of cash to spare during your holiday.

The Delano Las Vegas

The Delano can be defined as modern luxury at its best.  Having recently completed a full refurbishment as recently as 2014, this hotel is certainly worth a closer look.  As it  provides 1,117 rooms and suites, there is a wide variety of styles and sizes to choose from.  No less than $80 million dollars went into this renovation, so the accommodations are truly state of the art.  White and off-whites are used within each room; offering an extra sense of cleanliness and space.  The same observation holds true for the large and comfortable bathrooms.

A desert art “feel” can also be observed within the lounges and the lobbies; offering a somewhat subdued twist to the glamour associated with similar properties.  While there is no doubt that The Delano is one of the top five hotels within the city, the prices here can be notably cheaper when compared to other locations.  This can be a great idea if you are on a slight budget and opulence is still a must.  This benefit is rounded out with personalised service convenient access to the always-bustling Mandalay Bay resort and casino.

These five properties will provide memories to last a lifetime.  If you desire a taste of the high life during your future stay in Las Vegas, you simply cannot go wrong when choosing any of these hotels.
